John Coker's Rocketry

When I rediscovered rocketry (after a 20-year absence), I found a much-expanded hobby with much larger, more exciting and more dangerous rockets for bigger boys. I guess that makes me a Born Again Rocketeer (B.A.R.).

There is a large amount of rocketry-related content here. Mostly my own rockets and exploits, but also research I've done and many tips and discoveries I've made while building and flying rockets. You've come to the right place for high-power rocketry information!

Rocketry has been my primary hobby since 1998 and I've done a lot of it since that time. From starting out as a newbie at LUNAR and ROC launches through being the Prefect of AERO-PAC, I've learned a lot, met a bunch of great people and had wonderful fun. In 2005, I was deeply involved with the AERO-PAC To100k project and started building my full-size Wac Corporal. Work upheavals and changes in my interests caused a slowdown in my rocketry activities in mid-2005, but I still retain an active interest in the hobby.
